BE HAPPY FAKE IT: Done early in the morning while I was in a strange mood. To tell you the truth my day could have gone well or poorly depending on how I chose to look at it. I have a saying “make it or fake it” and what this means is that in life you can have so many bad things happen to you but at the end of the day you have to choose to either sink or swim, no matter what happened, or happens, to you. When I did this painting I put bright happy colours on the canvas in a very controlled way. In a way this was me telling myself to make it or fake it! It’s important to know it’s not lying to yourself, it’s choosing or creating how you see the world and live in it. I used time-lapse photo Blair 05
